Chinese Visa requirements

A visa is an officially approved document issued by authorized government bodies in accordance with the country's laws to foreign citizens applying to enter, leave, or transit through the country.

Based on Chinese laws and regulations, Chinese consular officials may decide on the type of visa, number of entries, validity period and duration of stay. They may also refuse a visa application or revoke an issued visa.

KiKi Holidays will assist all our consumers in applying for a Chinese Visa, and we may include the assistance fee in your invoice based on the situation.

Where to apply your Chinese Visa

If you are ordinary passport holders of your own country, please submit your application to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. However, holders of diplomatic and service (official) passports or applicants eligible for applying for China’s diplomatic, courtesy, and service visas and applicants applying for a visa/entry permit to the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region of China should still apply directly to the Chinese Embassy.

You can apply for a visa at a Chinese Embassy or the Chinese Consulate General, or the Chinese Visa Application Center. You can apply for an ordinary visa at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center.

Important notification: in person attendance required

We strongly suggest you search your local Visa Application Service Center before you go. Some may need to go to the Visa Service Centre designated to your state/province, even if this is not the closest to your current home address.
